Music video. camera angels.
in this music video, there is alot of jump shots between the man who's singing and the girl he's supposidly singing about. this is so you can closely see there reactions to what he is singing & also helps tell the story of the song.
at 2:10 - 2:13, there is a low angle shot looking up at the singer, this gives him a sense of authority and show's that he is the main focus.
pan shots are also used alot. as well as zoom.
Film Idea's. - idea 1. (sweet dreams)
Me, Harriette and james all worked together and came up with 3 idea's for the opening of a thriller movie.
our first idea: Sweet dreams.
A women and her daughter move away to try and start a new life, they certainly do start a new life. but it's far far away from there fairytale ending.
"One two, He's watching you.
Three four, three knocks at the door.
five six, he's got plenty of tricks.
seven eight, dont stay up too late,
nine ten, sweet dreams, AMEN."
^ this will be the poem that is liked with the killer.

Pay it foward. - media work
the film clip i am looking at is the end of a film called Pay it forward. The film is based on a true story, the story line is that a young boy is set a genral studies asignment in high school on how he would try and make the world a better place, he comes up with a idea called pay it forward, and the idea becomes widely known. unfortuantly the little boy dies after being stabbed after helping a friend who is being bullied.
At one point, when you first see the fight break out, which ends in the little boys death. the camera angel is above the boy, this is used as a way of making the young boy look vulnerable.
after the boy is killed. his mum and her boyfriend are sitting on a sofa watching a news interview that the boy made just before he died. the camera zooms in slowly into a close up of the little boys face on the tv screen.
at 7 minutes 12 of the clip, the man looks out of the window, and the camera, looking through the window turns into a close up of his face, this helps show the expression on his face, which will help reveal the emotion that he is feeling.
the camera circles around the group of people standing with candels and focuss on there faces, this is so you can see how everyone has reacted to the boys death
towards the end of the clip, the camera looks from height over the people, and zooms out. this could represent the boys spirit being taken up to heaven whilst looking over everyone.
